Introduction

This Health and Safety on Farms course will help learners understand the risks of working in agricultural environments and measure to help control those risks.

This course will help farmers, employees, and contractors working in agriculture to identify and understand legislation, risks and control measures to protect their safety and the safety of others.

The finer details

This course consists of four modules. A minimum score of 70% is required to pass it. Upon successful completion, a Lantra certificate of training will be available to download and print.

The course is ideal for anyone new to the world of agriculture. It also acts as a perfect refresher course for existing farm staff.

What will be covered?

This course covers health and safety, working at height, manual handling, electricity, agricultural vehicles, livestock, and diseases. You must undertake all of these modules in order to complete this course.
